Working alongside Killer Creative, Pebble Designs were asked the following:
• Create the wireframes following a discovery and brainstorm session
• Assist the internal graphic designer on website designs
• From PSD to browser we brought the designs to life and built the integrations needed such as Strava, JustGiving and MapMyFitness.
This was the first online-focused mass participation campaign for Barnardos.
Barnardo’s iTRI is an incredible long-distance, virtual triathlon starting on 1st March 2021. You have 31 days to put your fitness to the test and complete 2.4 miles of swimming (or other activity)*, 112 miles of cycling and 26.2 miles of running, in any order you like. To reach your target, you can complete the distance in bite-sized chunks and record your progress through your very own portal. This is your triathlon, completed your way.
For maximum audience participation we integrated with Strava and MapMyFitness to automatically log and record distances travelled. Furthermore, money that was raised is pulled from JustGiving’s donation pages which were generated as part of our super-simple, intuitive signup stages.
This campaign inspired over 17,500 participants who enjoyed hitting the pavement, swimming in new waters while raising much-needed money for a brilliant charity.
