Introduction

Simon Huntington from Marasby.com has asked Pebble Designs to create a report for his website. Marasby is a new business set up by Simon Huntington and Talya Roberson targeting sales of sustainable, high-quality UK produce and location-based experiences. Marasby.com It is an e-commerce shop with a view to being developed into a marketplace. The website has been built by White Label Creative (https://wlcreative.org.uk/).

Objectives

The objective of this report is to understand in more detail the current website and how it could impact the short and long term plans for the site. At the end of this document we report our recommended next steps highlighting any areas of concern.

1. We start by looking at the design and communication. We assess what are the intentions for the current audience and their flow. Without deep-dive into user personas (if supplied) and understand them in more detail.

2. Our second stage is a technical review. We understand the tech stack behind the current site and how the site is built. Looking at each layer from the server and content delivery to the codebase which makes up the design that your audience sees.
